The time I've spent with you has been the best in my life, but now our paths must diverge. I remember all the good times, the laughs and the tears, and of course the dreams. I will never forget you, and I hope you never forget me. But, more importantly, I hope you never forget who you are, the things that make you, you. I hope all the dreams we thought up come true and that you do everything you said you would. I hope that the hard times when you wore so thin were not born in vain to disappear into the night. I hope that, from now on, joyful tears are the only ones that cross your face, and when it's all said and done, I hope you are higher than you ever thought possible. Don't stop until you get there, until you fall asleep in the clouds and dream endless dreams of courage and love until time itself expires. Then you will drift into a place of peacefulness where stars collide and fireflies rein light upon your smiling face so that it appears but in an instant is gone. But, I know it's there: that smiling face. I know that true happiness awaits your faithful smile, and in the midst of the worst, the best I have ever seen shines through in the brightness. I know that hope is strong in your soul, but until that time when our hope will be realized in the fountain of life springing eternally from the depths of paradise, farewell. Just know that you will never be forgotten and as long as I live I will await the day when I smile at you and you at me, and we won't say a word because we both know. We have always known.
