Untitled - Devin Williams

This wasn’t her, but no one knew.

That moment of pain took it all away –

Lost in a deepening sea of emotions, what was she to say?

Left too afraid to live, who could she turn to?

With her true self fading fast, she began to feel blue.

The grief consuming as she tried to start a new day,

Longing to feel whole but happiness refused to stay.

Her words and opinions vanishing as she just stares at you –

Walking the halls too scared to feel;

Defeated, unseen, lost, and insecure,

She was bringing herself down and it felt all too real.

Invisibility clouded her judgment, leaving life in a blur;

When all felt lost and the past unheard of,

He smiled her way and she knew there was love.
