Meghan came to Briar Woods straight from Eagle Ridge from which she was tossed for impersonating an English student. At Briar Woods Meghan immediately established herself as a Scribe Artiste as her journals revealed her tortured soul while earning her the freshman English prize - this in spite of protests from Katie Gorick and Stephanie Baroody that Meghan had plagiarized Molly Booth's cryptic analysis of Dostoevsky's Notes from the Underground. Meghan continued to torment the school with her poetic journalistic laments till silenced by Ms. Berger's awarding her the Sophomore English prize. Only the wise Mr. Cissel avoided giving Meghan anything but blank stares and outraged silence in response to the plethora of dreary looks she hurled his way daily. And now senior year, Meghan is steering the Talon down yet another path of blind faith and vague notions. As Kelsey Berrier often says, "Hi! My name's 'Katie.'".
