In the beginning it was like a fairy tale
We laughed and talked for hours every night
The future was sadly not so bright
Had to make excuses because I was too embarrassed to tell
No longer felt free it became more like a jail
All we do is fuss and fight
To our love you have become a blight
It is no longer fresh it has become stale
You always say you didn’t mean to
Tried to say it was my fault
Thinking of the old times and I don’t know what to do
But it is clear this unhealthy relationship must halt
You fooled me before and it will happen no more
Tonight is the night I’m walking out of the door
