Constantly moving,
Never really knowing,
What or how,
My life is going.
Suddenly I stop,
Close my eyes,
And allow myself to remember,
Allow myself to release,
Allow myself to feel,
All over again.
The pains, angers, and hate,
That I must suppress,
Are unleashed,
But never conquered.
With every tear,
Emotion falls and splatters,
Into some unknown .
Unlike tears,
Which just fall, splatter,
And dry away,
The past and present struggle,
Just to remain within me.
They won’t every splatter or dry away,
Until I’m ready to let them fall.
