Angel's Savior - Tierney Ragsdale

“Sweet angel why are your wings horned?” he whispers
      “Who tore away these pieces off your halo?”

The questions meet the Angel’s eyes,
       He sees an angel and so does she,

But it is in his eyes she finds angel wings
       In the ocean’s reflection her only visage is the darkest night.

“My sweet angel don’t you know you are beautiful?”
       “Don’t you know I love you?”

But all the angel can find are bloody sores;
        The only things her eyes will ever search for

Are his luminous eyes, her only redemption is
        held within them.

The only thing she seeks is his embracing heart,
        but is love true if he knows not all the Angel’s mistakes.

If this Angel’s savior knew her heart and soul
        Would he whisper these questions?
